Propagation

As JLPN's reputation for having new cultivars grows, so grows the demand on us to keep finding new and exciting cultivars to promote.

In the past we have introduced many cultivars to the West Coast prior to them becoming popular in the trade. Weather it be Princeton elm, Encore™ London Planetree, or Crimson Pointe™ Plum, we have made it a priority to be first when it comes to promoting a product that's new with strong marketable qualities. Equally as important, is having enough stock built up to be able to distribute significant quantities to make a solid showing on the market from the start.

We are looking to the future with new lines of Fothergilla, Hamamelis, and many other cultivars that are new and exciting. These cultivars have been selected because they have strong marketable qualities and stand on their own from other cultivars. All too often plants are released that are different, but not necessarily better. We do our best to weed out the "Plain Jane" and "Same ol' Same ol's" of the plant world from our product line.

JLPN has taken many unknown plants and made them into large volume players on the market and we have the references to back it. If you have a plant that has strong marketable quality, but would benefit from improved exposure, we can help. We distribute 5,000 catalogs and 25,000 mailers a year, attend 8 trade shows on average and have a large advertising budget.

If you have a plant that you would like to get into wholesale production with the help of a propagation nursery with a tract record for quality and honesty, please contact us.
